The color is bright red. Strong aromas of vanilla and red fruits on the nose. Fresh, young and soft on the palate. “Novello Beneventano” is made from native grapes of Aglianico, Montepulciano and Barbera; the production of “vino novello”, regulated by a specific Italian law, requires the use of whole, undestemmed bunches of grapes vinified for a minimum of 40% with the carbonic maceration technique in an autoclave and, for the remaining part, with traditional techniques. The product thus obtained, compared to traditional winemaking, is characterized by very low levels of tannins, for the greater production of secondary fruity aromas and for the particular softness and balance of taste; the wine thus produced does not have a structure for aging and is immediately ready to drink. According to the provisions of the law, the release for consumption of the product is permitted starting from October 30 of the year in which the grapes were produced and its packaging by December 31.
